The Nine Lives™ Jerk Beefy is a creation born from your requests. Made from our exclusive Nine Lives Material, the Jerk Beefy will outlast the competition and attract more bites with its infused scent. We designed this lure to maintain a big beefy profile while still maintaining an erratic action. The Jerk Beefy infused scent has been custom tailored to attract both fresh and salt water predatory fish.
The Jerk Beefy is specifically designed to be used with weighted wide gap hooks like the Mustad grip pin. Our personal favorite is a 4/0 hook with 1/8th-1/4oz weight. When rigged properly, with short twitches you can cause the Jerk Beefy to "walk the dog" under water. Use varying twitch speeds, lengths and pause times to achieve different results. You can also use weightless weed gap chin lock hooks or barbed style jig heads to get varying actions.
Always store in original packaging for best preservation. The Jerk Beefy is made to use with chin lock EWG hooks like the Mustad Grip Pin (4/0-5/0) or barbed style jig heads like the 4" Paddle Head for the most secure hold.
