Pro Tips

For the classic underwater “walk the dog” action, use a weighted Mustad Grip Pin hook (3/0–5/0). For topwater use a weightless Mustad Grip Pin Hook (3/0-4/0)
Use very light twitches with an extra fast rod action to walk the dog top water or subsurface. Vary twitch speed and pause length to trigger reaction strikes.
Fish weightless for surface/subsurface glides or with a barbed 4″ Paddle Head Jig for deeper presentations.
