This Shipping Policy explains how Jonah Lure Works processes, packs, ships, tracks, and handles delivery issues for orders placed through JonahLureWorks.com, including soft baits, paddle tails, jerk baits, The Shimp, jig heads, slow pitch jigs, limited-run colors, restocks, and bait drops.

1. Shipping Overview

Thank you for choosing Jonah Lure Works. This policy applies to orders placed through JonahLureWorks.com. By placing an order, you agree to the shipping terms listed on this page, the shipping method selected at checkout, and any carrier rules that apply once the package enters the shipping network.

We work to process and ship orders quickly, but shipping times can vary based on order volume, bait drops, restocks, weekends, holidays, carrier delays, weather, address issues, and events outside of Jonah Lure Works’ control.

Plain meaning: Jonah Lure Works packs and ships your order, but once the carrier receives the package, transit timing and delivery handling are controlled by the carrier.

2. Order Processing

Most Jonah Lure Works orders are processed and shipped within 2 business days from the date of purchase, excluding weekends and holidays.

  • Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
  • Orders placed after normal business hours may begin processing the next business day.
  • Processing time means the time needed to receive the order, verify payment, pick products, pack baits, prepare labels, and hand the package to the carrier.
  • Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.

Transit begins after the package is accepted by the shipping carrier.

3. Bait Drops, Restocks + High Volume

Jonah Lure Works may experience higher order volume during new color releases, bait drops, back-in-stock events, sales, dealer restocks, holiday periods, and product launches.

  • Limited-run colors and restocks may take additional time to process if order volume is high.
  • Orders are generally processed in the order they are received unless operational needs require otherwise.
  • Large orders, dealer-style orders, or orders containing multiple product categories may require additional packing time.
  • If a product becomes unavailable due to an inventory issue, we may contact you, refund the unavailable item, or otherwise resolve the order.

Bait drop note: placing an order during a release or restock does not guarantee same-day shipping.

4. Shipping Methods

Jonah Lure Works currently ships orders through USPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Available shipping options are shown at checkout when you enter your shipping address.

  • USPS Ground and USPS Priority Mail transit times are estimates provided by the carrier.
  • The shipping method selected at checkout controls the shipping service used for the order.
  • Shipping services may vary based on package weight, destination, carrier availability, and checkout settings.
  • Jonah Lure Works may adjust the shipping service if needed to successfully ship the order, provided the selected service level is reasonably maintained.

5. Shipping Rates + Free Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order weight, destination, and available shipping methods.

  • Jonah Lure Works offers free shipping on qualifying orders over $59, unless otherwise stated or changed on the website.
  • Free shipping thresholds are calculated before or after discounts depending on the checkout settings active at the time of purchase.
  • Taxes, shipping protection, duties, fees, or other charges may not count toward a free shipping threshold unless checkout specifically allows it.
  • Shipping promotions may change, expire, or be updated without notice.
  • The shipping rate shown at checkout is the controlling shipping rate for the order.

6. Insurance + Route Package Protection

Shipping insurance is not automatically provided on packages. If package protection is desired, it must be purchased through Route Package Protection during checkout when that option is available.

  • Route Package Protection may help with certain lost, stolen, or damaged shipment claims when purchased at checkout.
  • If you decline Route Package Protection, Jonah Lure Works may not be able to replace, refund, or reship packages that are lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, or marked delivered by the carrier.
  • Route claims may be subject to Route’s own rules, timelines, approvals, and documentation requirements.
  • Jonah Lure Works is not responsible for claim decisions made by Route or the shipping carrier.

If you want additional protection against package loss, theft, or damage during transit, select Route Package Protection at checkout when available.

7. Transit Times

Transit times for USPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail are determined by USPS and are outside Jonah Lure Works’ control.

  • Carrier estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.
  • Transit may be delayed by weather, holidays, high shipping volume, carrier routing, staffing, address issues, regional disruptions, or other carrier-related events.
  • Weekend and holiday movement may vary by carrier service and location.
  • Jonah Lure Works is not responsible for carrier delays after a package has been accepted by USPS.

8. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

  • You can track your shipment using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email.
  • You may also be able to view order status through your Jonah Lure Works customer account if account features are available.
  • Tracking may take time to update after the label is created or after USPS accepts the package.
  • A tracking number showing “label created” does not always mean the package has received its first carrier scan yet.

Tracking note: carrier tracking updates can lag, especially during weekends, holidays, storms, and high-volume periods.

9. Shipping Restrictions

Jonah Lure Works currently ships within the United States.

  • We are generally unable to ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international addresses.
  • If an address cannot be served by the available carrier options, the order may be canceled and refunded.
  • Some addresses may require additional review before shipment.
  • Customers are responsible for making sure the shipping address entered at checkout can receive USPS packages.

10. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for entering complete and accurate shipping information at checkout.

  • Double-check the name, street address, apartment or unit number, city, state, ZIP code, and contact information before submitting an order.
  • Jonah Lure Works is not responsible for packages shipped to an incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable address provided by the customer.
  • If an order is returned due to an address issue, additional shipping charges may apply to reship the order.
  • If a package is delivered to the address entered at checkout, Jonah Lure Works may not be able to replace or refund it due to customer address error.
Before You Order

Check your shipping address carefully. A wrong apartment number, missing unit, old address, or incorrect ZIP code can delay or prevent delivery.

11. Lost, Delayed + Delivered Packages

Jonah Lure Works is not responsible for delays, lost packages, stolen packages, or delivery issues that occur during carrier transit.

  • If tracking shows the package is delayed, continue monitoring USPS tracking for updates.
  • If tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate the package, check with household members, neighbors, parcel lockers, front desk staff, mailrooms, property offices, and the local delivery location.
  • If USPS tracking shows delivery, USPS is usually the best first contact for delivery confirmation, GPS delivery scan details, or local delivery investigation.
  • If Route Package Protection was purchased, file a claim through Route according to Route’s process.
  • Jonah Lure Works may not be able to replace or refund packages that are marked delivered by USPS.

12. Damaged Shipments

If your package or products arrive damaged, contact Jonah Lure Works promptly with your order number, photos, and a clear description of the issue.

  • Keep the packaging, shipping label, damaged items, and all contents until the issue is reviewed.
  • Photos should show the outside package, shipping label, packing materials, and damaged product.
  • Damage claims may be reviewed through Route if Route Package Protection was purchased.
  • Jonah Lure Works may deny claims that cannot be verified, are reported too late, or appear fraudulent, abusive, or unrelated to shipping.

13. Heat, Storage + Soft Bait Handling

Jonah Lure Works ships fishing products that may include soft baits, TPE-style materials, glow materials, glitter, jig heads, and other tackle. Customers should handle and store products properly after delivery.

  • Do not leave soft baits in direct sun, hot vehicles, mailboxes, tackle trays, or high-heat areas for extended periods.
  • Some soft bait materials may be affected by heat, pressure, incompatible plastics, scent products, dyes, or improper storage.
  • Inspect products after delivery and move them to proper storage as soon as possible.
  • Damage caused by improper storage, heat exposure after delivery, mixing incompatible materials, or customer handling may not qualify for replacement or refund.

Soft bait note: once delivered, store baits properly and avoid mixing materials unless you know they are compatible.

14. Multiple Shipments

In some cases, Jonah Lure Works may split an order into multiple shipments based on product availability, order size, product category, inventory location, or packing requirements.

  • You may receive more than one tracking number for a single order.
  • Items may arrive on different days if they are shipped separately.
  • Partial shipments do not necessarily mean an item is missing.
  • If your order appears incomplete after all tracking numbers show delivered, contact Jonah Lure Works with your order number.

15. Order Changes + Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact Jonah Lure Works as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made once an order has entered processing, been packed, had a shipping label created, or been handed to the carrier.

  • Address changes are not guaranteed after checkout.
  • Product changes are not guaranteed after checkout.
  • Orders already shipped cannot be canceled.
  • If a package is returned due to customer error, refusal, or an undeliverable address, reshipping charges may apply.

16. Shipping Notifications

Jonah Lure Works may send email notifications related to your order, including order confirmation, shipment confirmation, tracking updates, delivery updates, refund notices, and customer service messages.

  • Make sure your email address is entered correctly at checkout.
  • Check spam, promotions, or junk folders if you do not see an order confirmation.
  • Transactional shipping and order emails are separate from marketing emails.
